On the 6th of July 2019, both FUFA and  National Team Head coach of the Uganda Cranes Mr. Desabre Sebastien Serge Louis mutually agreed to terminate the contract between the two parties. National soccer team Uganda Tuesday did not undergo training despite a training programme released by the technical team. The players were protesting their ‘unpaid’ bonuses amounting to Sh22 million ($6,000) for beating DRC and drawing with Zimbabwe.
