The Speaker of Parliament, Ms Rebecca Kadaga, has returned from the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya, where she had been admitted. “Yes, that is correct, she is back from the hospital,” Mr Sam Obbo, her principal press secretary, said when asked if the Speaker had returned. Mr Obbo said Ms Kadaga came back on Saturday and is now resting at her home. “At an appropriate time, we shall issue a statement on her condition,” he said. African Union threatens to kick Sudan out of AU over coup


The African Union on Monday threatened to kick Sudan out of AU following last week’s coup that saw Omar al-Bashir ousted by the military after nearly three decades in power.
