US television celebrity Oprah Winfrey on Thursday paid emotional tribute to Nelson Mandela as she prepared to host a star-studded concert in Johannesburg to cap celebrations marking 100 years since his birth. The executive committee of CAF are searching for a new site for next year’s expanded Africa Cup of Nations after deeming the original hosts unfit Cameroon have been stripped of hosting duties for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations due to delays over their preparations for the tournament. The parliamentary committee investigating the closure of commercial banks yesterday ordered police to arrest the bodyguard and driver of Ms Justine Bagyenda, the former executive Director for supervision at the central bank, in connection with critical documents that were secretly taken away from the bank. The troubles of Ms Justine Bagyenda, the former director of supervision at Bank of Uganda, yesterday deepened further after Mr Milton Opiyo, the Central Bank’s security director, pinned her on the disappearance of critical documents from the bank.
