SAD STORY: Muhammad Kirumira gunned down


The former District Police Commander for Buyende was gunned down by assassins who were ridding on motor bikes on Saturday evening as he drove near his home. A female occupant of the vehicle was also shot dead. Police said they would withhold releasing her identity “in the meantime”. The two were pronounced dead upon arrival at Rubaga Hospital in Kampala. KAMPALA- The European Union delegation in Uganda have refuted allegations by government that they are funding illegal activities by some civil society organisations (CSOs) in the country.
